So I got an email today that had a picture in it that looked like this.
In the email was the information for me to pick up tickets in the pre-sale, before the tickets went on sale to the general public. This show is going to sell out fast, so I was ecstatic! I didn’t think the Smashing Pumpkins were going to be playing Reno on this tour they are doing right now. What is most special about this tour is that all the venue’s they are playing are very small. So the shows are very limited as to the number of people who can attend. It also means that there are no bad seats, and I will be VERY close to the stage. I am so incredibly excited about this. I can’t wait!
I’ve seen the Smashing Pumpkins once before, and when I saw them I had decent seats, but even if I end up at the back of the Knitting Factory (which I won’t) I’ll still be closer than I was the last time I saw them. The last time I saw Billy Corgan play guitar it was an amazing experience. I’ve never seen a better guitar player than him. It’s kind of sad that his albums don’t really do justice to what he is able to do live.
